Everything about our dance classes

Registration, schedules, absences, attire, shows and payments: here are the answers to the questions families ask us most often. Can't find your answer? Call us at 514-972-7590 or write to us at danserjasmin@gmail.com.

Classes

We offer the following classes: ballet, hip hop, K-pop, contemporary, country, tap and wedding (first dance).

We offer parent-and-child classes starting at age 2!

Following an assessment by the director and the teacher, your child can move to a different level during the year. Your child can switch dance styles at any time.

Absolutely! We offer beginner ballet, country and tap classes.

Rates & payments

Rates before taxes: ages 3 to 6: $417.48; ages 7 and up: $452.27; adults: $187; country: $73.93; private classes: $90 (+ tax).

You can pay in a single payment or in up to five instalments — it's your choice at registration.

The registration fee is $30 and is included in the total price for the year.

We offer a 10% discount when one child registers for more than two classes, or for families with more than two children.

Our refund policy follows Quebec's Consumer Protection Act. Cancellation before classes begin: the class is refunded. Cancellation after classes begin: you must pay for the classes already taken plus the penalty set out in the Act, equal to the lesser of $50 or 10% of the price of the classes not yet taken.

Schedules & logistics

Schedules stay the same all year long. A floating day off is set aside after the holidays to make up for days lost to snowstorms. You'll be notified by phone if needed.

Unfortunately, missed classes can't be made up. That said, the progression is designed so every student can keep moving forward even after missing a session.

Our regular classes are held once a week, so students learn at a steady, enjoyable pace.

We hold assessments for moving up to the next level, and these take place at the start of the year. Students have an open class before Christmas to show parents their progress and how classes run. Our year-end show is always the first weekend of May.
